PURCHASING shells from Worldwide Specimen Shells is easy as 1-2-3...select your shells from our Web site, manage your shopping cart, and complete/send the order form...1-2-3! Here is what will happen after you place your order...

Within 24 hours (48 hours on weekends and holidays) after placing your order using this e-commerce Web site you will receive an e-invoice (as a PDF-format email attachment) that lists all of the available shells from your order, postage cost and the total amount due. Orders are held for up to 4 days while payment is arranged. Contact us by email if you anticipate any payment delay, or will be sending a check by snail mail.
Methods of Payment
Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover), PayPal, checks and money orders (in U.S. dollars) and bank wire transfers are accepted. The purchaser must absorb all payment fees. The order form has a place to indicate your payment preference so that we can prepare the proper bill paying arrangements.

The e-invoice has a section for supplying your credit card details. E-invoices should be faxed or snail mailed to our office for processing. You can also telephone your credit card information during regular weekday business hours.

If you prefer to pay using PayPal, you will receive a Request-for-Payment directly from PayPal in addition to a separate e-invoice from us. As with other forms of payment, transactions must be completed within 4 days after receipt of the e-invoice. Please send us a short email note if you encounter any payment delays, or will be having your bank send a wire transfer, or mailing a check/money order through the mail so that we can extend the hold period.
Shipping & Handling
Orders are shipped once payment is received and cleared. Parcels are packed using light-weight, yet sturdy materials to keep postage costs to a minimum. Parcels are sent using the safest and most expedient mailing method.

Parcels shipped to addresses in the United States and to APO and FPO addresses are mailed using the United States Postal Service (USPS). Orders valued under $50.00 are mailed First Class or Priority mail (depending on weight) with delivery confirmation. Orders of greater value will be insured.

Overseas shipments are mailed by USPS International First Class mail with Registration. You can wave the registeration service and fee at your own risk.

Parcels can also be sent using other carrier services or by Express mail upon request at an additional cost. Tell us if you have any special mailing preferences in the order form Comments Section when placing your order.

Returns are accepted within 7 days after receipt of the order for a full refund, exchange or credit as long as the shells or books are returned in the same condition as received and mailed back using the same shipping method as sent.

Green Initiatives
Worldwide Specimen Shells operates with green initiatives in mind. That is, we only issue a paper-printed copy of invoices upon request. All correspondence and billing is done electronically via email. Special lists and our newsletters are sent via email.

When ever possible we recycle our packing materials and our shipping boxes are made of partially recycled cardboard materials. Most importantly, we hope you will join us by reusing the boxes and packing materials you receive from us for mailing shells to friends and family as gifts and when exchanging shells with other collectors. Concern for our environment is everyone's job.
