Volutoconus bednalli (Brazier, 1878) This specimen stands out among many due to its consistent, classic chevron-like "bednalli" pattern around the entire body whorl. The anterior-end band is interestingly split into three separate thread-like bands that also encircle the entire body whorl. Both pattern characteristics make for a specimen that displays beautifully.
